We at Montague & Associates believe support for nonprofits and their leaders should be a continuous process, spanning the entire length of an executive’s career. This includes support and guidance for those who are entering the retirement phase. We understand retirement can be an overwhelming transition, especially for nonprofit leaders who have dedicated so much time and energy to their organizations and have made their work their lives’ purpose.
That’s why we’ve chosen to partner with Paula Giovacchini, Certified Retirement Coach, Career Coach, and Owner of Gio Group, Inc. Paula has over 20 years of experience helping people embrace change and transitions. Gio Group’s “Retirement Life Transition Framework” provides a roadmap to traverse unchartered waters since Baby Boomers are transforming retirement with increased life expectancy, choosing to retire later and have a desire to give back to society and have meaning in their lives.
Paula works with clients individually and with couples on topic-specific areas as well as holistically as early as 15 years from retirement to those retiring in two years, one month or currently retired. Paula helps senior-level executives navigate the transition to retirement or semiretirement. This includes exploring their passions, goals and interests, new work options or entrepreneurship, to create a fulfilling retirement life.
